When you face water damage , There are steps to take in the first few minutes to help guide a successful outcome:
1. DON'T PANIC!

2. Turn off your home's water.

3. Turn Off Power to the Affected Area.
If possible do this immediately at your home's breaker box, of if this part of the home is affected, call a licensed electrician, often local is better here. 4. Now begin Damage Control.
